WUX Team Ludo App Design - Requirements

Requirements

For the WUX App Design Summative Assessment, we are required to create a niche market application to sell a product of our choosing. We have decided to focus on board games as our chosen product.

As per the brief, there are certain functional requirements our application will need to meet to be considered successful.

Broadly speaking, we can approach user requirements in two categories, buyer requirements and seller requirements.

Brief Requirements

• Sellers need to be able to:
• Create / list an item
• Populate listed items with details
• Set a price
• View their listed items
• Update item details if necessary
• Remove an item from being listed
• Provide contact information, before or after a sale
• Buyers need to be able to:
• View listed products
• Ask questions about the products
• Leave comments on the product page
• Leave comments on the sellers profile page

Additional Requirements

Past the requirements stated in the brief, we in Team Ludo would like to see:

• The ability for buyers and browsers to filter listed products, subject to user input.
• The ability to host resources for board games listed in the marker, such as instruction manuals to be used if the physical copy of the game is missing it.
• A sub-section of the site that sells board game supplies to replenish an incomplete board game, such as dice, tokens or other parts.

More requirements will be added as more research is undertaken and new features are thought of.
